This Beautiful Marina, known as Saville Town Wharf was originally built in the nineteenth century as a busy transport hub for the textile industry in Dewsbury. Years later it had become a scrapyard for boats that were no longer seaworthy. Left unused and derelict it had become an eyesore for the locals and was left long forgotten. Our family took over the site in 1982 with the vision of the beauty that lay beyond. Fast forward to now and we are an award-winning pub serving fresh seasonal food utilising local produce to bring delicious plates and hand-pulled ales to you.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch, we had the chicken platter for 2, it was amazing. The veg was steamed and honey roasted, there was so much to eat, the staff were amazing and so friendly, even the chef came out to say hello. We will definitely return again soon.
